Why we built this.
Every developer we know keeps a graveyard of single-purpose tabs open: one for JSON formatting, another for Base64, another for regex testing. The same tools, every project, every dev, decade after decade. The friction isn't the tools themselves — they're trivial to write — it's the lookup tax of remembering which URL goes where every single time.

Built consolelog.tools as a single SPA where every utility runs in the browser, fronted by a ⌘K command palette so you never need to remember the URL. Tools execute client-side — no upload, no server round-trip, no account. Bundled a CLI alongside so the same tools you reach for in the browser work in your terminal. PostHog cookieless analytics so usage data informs which tools deserve depth without trading user privacy for product insight.
What we learned.
The bottleneck was never the tools.
It was the friction between you and the tool. 300+ utilities live now across twenty-five categories — browser-native, sub-100ms, reachable by typing two letters. The catalog became the side-project that proves the lane: a real product with real users, and the testbed where we trial UX patterns (keyboard-first navigation, command palettes, no-signup flows) before they show up in client work.
